DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Overview
Computer science is the systematic study of algorithmic processes that describe and transform information: their theory, analysis, design, efficiency, implementation, and application. It is a broad discipline with an ever-growing array of opportunities. A degree in computer science prepares a student for a lifetime of discovery. It enables the graduate to advance the state of the art in computing, not merely to keep up with it. The programs develop the student’s critical thinking, investigatory, and expository skills. The student will learn the foundations of computer science theory and practice, and the interaction between the two.
The College of Computer Science and Technology offers programs leading to BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Computer Science.
The University provides comprehensive set of high quality programs in the areas of undergraduate, graduate and professional education to the students.
