About CEIT

The college’s programs focus on the practical use of scientific, engineering, and technical principles to meet the objectives of industry, business, government, and the public. The college provides each student with the opportunity to develop a high level of technical skills and to obtain an education in preparation for a rewarding career and personal growth.

The College faculty are actively engaged with business, industry, and government. Faculty members also participate in a variety of basic and applied research projects in areas such as energy, transportation, solid waste disposal, biomedical devices and instrumentation, computer engineering, artificial intelligence, manufacturing, robotics, telecommunications, microelectronics, structural systems, biotechnology, systems modeling, information technology, environmental sciences and engineering, and image processing engineering education.

The CEIT offers unique opportunities for innovative education and research. We transform our students into Engineers and Technologists with strong knowledge and handsome skill for sound practice in science, technology, and engineering. At present, the College is geared toward becoming the school of choice in computing education, delivering high-quality, industry-aligned, and globally competitive training, and producing highly competent and God-centered IT professionals.

Students in these disciplines will find it necessary to work confidently in multi-disciplinary teams throughout their careers. A foundation in Engineering and Technology is structured around projects working with others from different degree programs, enabling them to begin to develop this extremely important transferable skill.
